Actress, producer and writer Melissa McCarthy has responded to a question about her recent weight loss in the best way.
In an interview with Refinery29, she explained when questioned over her recent weight loss that it is far from the most interesting thing about her.
"I have, but I'll be back again. I'll be up, I'll be down, probably for the rest of my life. The thing is, if that is the most interesting thing about me, I need to go have a lavender farm in Minnesota and give this up,” she said.
She used the interview to question why women’s image was always scrutinised but men were never asked the same questions.
“‘Can you imagine them asking some of these guys I work with, 'How do you keep your butt looking so good?' It would be like, ‘What the f--k are you talking about? Why are you asking about the shape of my butt?’"
The actress is currently promoting her latest film The Bossset to be released on April 8.
