100-150-150 g color no 11, light beige

DROPS CROCHET HOOK size 8 mm / L/11 – or size needed to get 10 sc x 11 rows vertically with 2 strands Symphony = 10 x 10 cm / 4'' x 4''.

CROCHET 2 STS TOG:
Crochet the first st but wait with last YO and pull through, crochet next st and at last pull trough now pull yarn through all 3 loops on hook.
--------------------------------------------------------

SLIPPER:
Worked back and forth, top down. Ch 32-34-36 loosely on hook size 8 mm / L/11 with 2 strands Symphony. Turn piece. Work 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, then work 1 sc in every ch the entire row = 31-33-35 sc.
Continue to work as follows: * ch 2, turn piece, work 1 dc in every st, ch 1, turn piece, work 1 sc in every st *, repeat from *-* - REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE – important so that the slippers are the correct size.
AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 10-10-10 cm / 4''-4"-4", dec 2 sts on the row as follows: Work the first 2 sts tog - see explanation above - and the 2 middle sts tog = 29-31-33 sts on row.
Then continue until piece measures 19-20-21 cm / 7½"-8"-8 1/4".
Now work the foot in sc as follows – insert a marker in the middle st:

ROW 1: Work 1 sc in every st until st before mid st, 2 sc in next st, 1 ch (= middle st), skip next st, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in each of the last sts, turn piece.

ROW 2: Work 1 sc in each of the first sts until the ch, work 7 dc in the middle ch (the 4th dc of the 7 dc is now the middle st) and 1 sc in each of the last sts, turn piece.

ROW 3: Work 1 sc in each of the next sts until st before mid st, work 2 sc in next st, 1 ch (= mid st), skip next st, work 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in each of the last sts, turn piece.

ROW 4: Work 1 sc in each st until mid st, 7 dc in ch and 1 sc in each of the last sts, turn piece.

Repeat 3rd and 4th row until piece measures approx. 22-24-27 cm / 8 3/4"-9½"-10½" in length - measured when piece is folded double.
Switch to Eskimo and now measure piece from here.
* Work 1 row with sc, finish row with 1 ch and turn piece *, repeat from *-* until piece measures approx. 4-4,5-5 cm / 1½"-1 3/4"-2" - at the same time on last row, work the first 2 and the last 2 sts tog - see explanation above. Fasten off.

ASSEMBLY:
Fold the slipper double, sew tog edge to edge in front loop of outermost st to avoid a chunky seam. Loosely work a row with sc at the top of leg with Eskimo.
Work a ch-row with Eskimo of approx. 150 cm / 59'', make a small pompom in each end – Tip: Before the last pompom is inserted on the ch-row, pull the ribbon through a st at the bottom of leg in the transition between Symphony to Eskimo so it is fastened tightly.
Tie this ch-row around the leg.

I hope you will give it try.
